Unique post over at Vogue:

MANOLO BLAHNIK shoes made of cocaine have been discovered in northern Spain, as traffickers attempted to smuggle the drug in to the country from Colombia shaped as the famous shoe.

Police arrested the alleged drug gang on Thursday and seized four kilograms of the drug in a raid in Gorliz, in the Basque region.

“This investigation revealed that those detained had been bringing in cocaine shaped as women’s shoes for two years,” a spokesman for Basque police said, the Telegraph reports.

Blahnik’s shoes retail for around £600, but the illegal versions – created from cocaine paste – would have had a street value of more than £40,000.
