I am still too traumatized to recall today’s events in full… Essentially we made 5,000 cupcake mosaic for the lovely people at Food Network in the form of James de Gale’s (the real James de Gale above ‘helping’ us) face. Yes I have spent all day, on all fours, in the middle of Westfield Shopping centre on the face of a boxer. Took HOURS to make, got eaten in about one. I also have a really bad eye infection (emergency contact lens container being big bottle of Evian) so had to give an interview to the Food Network looking like a pirate. It’s really not funny.
As for Lily Vanilli, I think she is going to need therapy after baking all of these cupcakes in just two days, not to mention printing the toppers – amazing work!
I would have eaten most of them while (trying) to place them.
I think Lily won’t eat cup cakes for awhile.
looks nice, but looks also stolen from stefan sagmeister.. he made the same with coffee for an adobe poster.
Wouldn’t know as have not seen that… This wasn’t complicated we just used a cross stitch pattern generator to work it out, not need to “steal” it from anywhere!
This reminds of the guy who draws with silly things like the grease from McDonald’s fries. Very clever use of materials.
