This is such a great Christmas site from Robinsons – Put On A Panto. It allows you to put on a panto in your own home – making you free to rope in whoever you want (I am thinking grandparents and pets would look the funniest in costume). Taking you through the 3 P’s of panto – plan, practice, perform it is a one stop shop to give children all they need to put on a pantomime at home. I am going to LOVE working on this.
You get to chose which panto you wish to put on (I went for Jack & the Beanstalk as my much loved colleague Joe is 6ft 4), and then talks you through all the processes needed from costumes to posters to scripts. There is even a search for a star competition – the winner getting the chance of a role in their local pantomime…
Best of all much like the Where The Wild Things Are Fort competition it is an online competition that encourages children to do activities which are very much offline.
Happy Christmas – Ho ho ho!
I can’t help but wonder what kind of narcotics were being consumed when the concept of an M&M dressed up as Amidala was cleared as a great idea for a Christmas Tree Decoration. To be precise:
The M & M’s® Star Wars Amidala Figurine features the young queen dressed in full royal regalia. Your favorite mouthwatering candy combines with the world’s most famous sci-fi fantasy tale to bring you this Christmas collectible. Candy-coated Princess Padme will make a prized addition to your display case.
I never want to be the kind of person with a display case! That said I have just bought this awesome set of Yoda fairy lights – quite frankly they rock my world and are a bargain!
And of course the whole Star Wars M&M thing is worse than I ever feared as it is all part of a movie tie (Revenge of the Sith) up a few years back. I am finding the plush M&M particularly random – with the thought of melting chocolate and Chewbacca’s fur just toooooo much.
Nobody puts this pumpkin in the corner!
If you want an awesome pumpkin but can’t be arsed / or have the skill level (that’s me) to create your own then worry not – the Pumpkin Geek is there to help! I love his work but they do miss the charm of say the Where The Wild Things Are pumpkins.
This is the Pumpkin Geek himself below – he proposed to his wife at Disneyland, and does not like bubble gum or onions.
A look inside the Sith Medcenter – part of the Dorling Kindersley Star Wars Complete Locations book.
Adidas Originals and Star Wars are to work together for an upcoming 2010 spring/summer collection. With these two iconic brands working together it is a safe bet that the collection will rock. AND we only have to wait three months as it will debut in January 2010. Much awesomeness all round!

Finally, whilst on the subject it would seem rude not repost this great Storm Trooper hoodie from Marc Ecko
Not only has Eddie Izzard just run 43 marathons (don’t forget to donate) – this Lego recreation set to his ‘Death Star Canteen’ sketch reminds up about the genius of his non running work.
I have fallen for this Baby Jaba made out of felted wool by Kit Lane.
An amazing gallery of rare Star Wars images posted by Australian based Life Lounge. A culturally valid Friday time waster, these are nothing short of AWESOME.
There is a moral in here somewhere. Think Geek rolled out this cooooool Tauntaun sleeping bag for April Fools? So many kicked off that it wasn’t available, they have now decided to try and bring it to life. That’ll learn them.
