I loved Ms Cupcake anyway as she makes the best Vegan cupcakes, which she kindly served at the private view for The Mad Artists Tea Party. She also made a special batch of these for a vegetarian friend coming on the last day which was seriously sweet of her. Anyhow I just had to share this amazing picture of her with you all – naturally she’s my new style icon! She did get credited as Miss Cakehead in some of the press coverage but you can see why
I am VERY exited about the opening of Ms. Cupcakes fabulous HQ & London’s 1st Vegan Cake Shop (about time). She has been nothing but kind and amazing to me in her support of my projects (& tolerant of my non baking ways) and I hope this cake shop is the smash hit it deserves to! It is open to the public from Saturday 2nd April so do drop in, sample their wares and of course meet Ms. Cupcake and her Cupcake-Crew (I have a soft spot for the Vegan Bear :-D). As well as her cakes being delicious and very pretty they are also lower in calories than non vegan alternatives so it is a win win. The new home of delicious cake can be found at 408 Coldharbour Lane, Brixton, London SW9 8LF.
