I have had about a million e-mails lately asking for advice on what to get people for Christmas, and so on, and so forth. I clearly cant give away my best secrets here but I have decided to just do various present posts over the next few weeks. Like the shopping section in a magazine, but as if the editor as on crack.
I am going to start with Secret Santa – as I work in Shoreditch going for the £15 and under price range.
An exhibition of works from the iconic photographer John “Hoppy” Hopkins was held at the Idea Generation Gallery in London – the film features interviews with people who worked and played alongside “Hoppy” in the 60′s such as Greg Sams and Barry Miles (who I have decided I want to be my Dad as he is one of the nicest men I have ever interview), as well as artists from today such as Pete Fowler.
Awesome film work from Joe, Louisa and Marie for a very sickly Emmylou – you all ROCK!
Dastardly & Custard think it would be cool if someone made this lotto bathing device, an object which can only be truly defined as a contraption. Maybe it could link back to a website – match the numbers which float out of your mini bath bombs and win flagons of bubble bath… …works for us.
If you were beginning to think you were bored of street art (I wasn’t for the record) then think again. This is rather brilliant and very different…
Tomoki Takahashi and James Powderley (see featured pictures) are to front Street Art Dealer – revolutionise the way we interact with art on the street. In fact this is so darn interesting I have included the whole story here – something which I almost never do! Want to know more then head over to Idea Generation.

Last month’s Monsters Inked exhibition at Idea Generation saw a massive mural of Pete Fowler’s Monsterism Island that stretched from floor to ceiling – it ROCKS!
