Five Go Mad is such a fabulous quirky shop which stays on the right side of tacky – we as far as you can be when talking about pants with the face of David Cameron and Nick Clegg on.
I am slightly disappointed with the lack of range on the site so far – clicking on some menu items brings up no options – but it is a new site and one I think is worth sticking with. I can’t forgive them the awful food selection though. Some of my top picks:

Blogger Isa Humble has teamed up with University of Illinois-Urbana histology lecturer Joanne Manaster for a video which combines science and baked goods into one delicious package. Below is the introductory video which launches the series, but there’s others covering all the different cells that make up your blood stream—from erythrocytes to eosinophils there is a cookie to represent all of them.
I am not sure how well diseases and cookies go together but these are seriously cool.
Am LOVING this short animation for British Illustrator Gemma Robinson. I think her brain must be wired much like mine! I particularly enjoyed the ahem.
