Employment opportunity with Brave New Ventures

So I got some tweets and then an email from Brave New Ventures with some confusing information on – hoping some of my geekier / clever readers can help figure it out for me. Anyone got any ideas / clues / suggestions? The video above tells me it’s something to do with Secret Cinema and erm that’s all I know… never ever been able to work out their clues.

As Chief Information Officer, your task will be to promote and assist in our current recruitment drive. Our maiden voyage is of utmost importance not only to our investors, but also to humanity. It is imperative, therefore, that we find the right candidates for each position. Your role as Chief Information Officer will be vital in helping us to source these candidates.

In order to carry out your role, we will require you to spread the word about our recruitment drive to all avenues available to you, be they fora, social networks or other online communities. We will, of course, require evidence of your work via regular reports. Failure to report will be considered failure to perform. Failure to perform will not be tolerated.

Princess Die

Love this Princess ‘Die’ drag from Fabulous Rusella who annoyingly has much much better legs than me. Said princess is hopefully (fingers crossed) taking part in the photoshoot for the Will & Cake pop up cake shop which is part of Maiden’s Big Fat Royal Wedding. She will be joining one of my favourite’s Dame Vesta Boules, Noah & I for the shoot which (of course) Nathan Pask is shooting. There will be no cakes between my legs this time though I promise.

Princess Die was also Russella’s first ever solo stage show telling the story of the late Princess Diana.

Art Car Boot (on film)

You’ve seen our pictures of the Art Car Boot and here is a video from the organizers LOVE the SUPER CAMP SAILOR ACTION at 00:24 though sadly the awesome Cock Piss Patridge car art did not make the cut! Such a good film (though awful music choice).

All of that said and done it’s clearly really sad to see Sebastian Horsley (RIP) in this film at 00:52.

Dark Side Of the Moon – Live projection

More great work from Cake here from last October for Sky HD: Using the screening of Pink Floyd’s 1984 performance of Dark Side Of The Moon (screened on Sky Arts), they recreated the iconic album cover for real on London’s Primrose Hill. It looks fucking awesome.

Curious afternoon tea

So I was treated to Alice in Wonderland tea at the Sanderson today… …I also HEART my new camera.

Great concept but sadly poorly executed – the strawberry foam tasted of nothing, and there was no vegetarian option so I did not get to eat the mustard bread yadda yadda yadda… …BUT it looked GREAT. More images on the Flickr stream.
