MASSIVE THANK YOU to everyone who helped make this amount – here is a link images of the cakes! They look AMAZING!

This may not be the most design conscious blog post in the world but with so much traffic already coming to this post it appeared to make sense to just update it…
The Geeky Cakes will be on sale from 1100 tomorrow – our pop up being in the Bellini Room of The Hospital Club, 24 Endell St, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9HQ.
We sold out in just two hours at our last event so we are also taking reservations for some cakes via Twitter – all the information on how to get your paws on the cakes, and a full menu of all the cakes we will be selling, will be on the Facebook page.
This is a private members club but fret not you wont need a pass to get to the cake – simply go to the Internet Week check in desk in reception (you can’t miss it and they will direct you to me!
After you are caked up then if you would like to stay in the HQ and attend any of the panels / sessions – they can have 50% off a pass making it £20. Click here to see the content for tomorrow. Code: C@k3_h3@d, or this Link already has the discount applied.
Sorry this site has been low on new posts of late, I have another of my projects on the go (AKA my rather strange hobby) as I do when I am not working on my normal job as a freelance creative. Now I NEVER normally ever say this but please share / tweet / blog this project as we need everyone to turn up and buy these delicious cakes next Wednesday. With no PR on board, and myself so busy, we are relying on the power of social media to get things cracking. Seems rather fitting eh?!
Here’s the release:
Megabites – Steve Jobs Inspired ‘iCake’ Shop Pop Up for Internet Week Europe
Curator of Cake & Chaos, and founder of the Stay Puft Creativity Corporation, Miss Cakehead is set to open a Steve Jobs Inspired Cake Shop for one day only on Wednesday 9th November. The shop will to both unashamedly celebrate the joy of ‘geek cakes’ & raise money for UK charity Pancreatic Cancer UK in his name. The event will form part of Internet Week Europe, a five-day festival of events to celebrate Europe’s thriving Internet industry and community, and will be based at The Hospital Club in central London.
All of the cakes will be ‘geek’ or ‘mac’ inspired with contributions from a range of bakers & treats on sale including white chocolate candy apples with the mac logo, Angry Bird cupcakes, cookies featuring portraits of Steve Jobs, Twitter cake pops, cookie replica of iPhones (and their applications), ‘Mac’ logo shaped ‘apple’ pies & even an 100% edible life sized creation of a Mac lap top.
People will also be able to tweet a cake reservation for collection later in the day using the #geekcakes hash tag.
