So I collected the long awaited solid chocolate human skull from the post office today and I have to say it is one of the most amazing edible structures I have ever seen (or am ever likely to see). A big claim but I stand by it as remember this is 100% solid edible delicious chocolate cast from a real human skull (you can see the detail in some of the c/u images which is staggering). It’s also made me so excited about the edible autopsy I am almost scared (massively glossing over the fact that writing up the latest version of the document made me physically gag). The solid chocolate human skeleton is going to blow everyone’s minds & having now got a skull I know that Marina Malvada of Chocolate Skulls is absolutely going to deliver the goods (not that I ever doubted it). Maybe I have become ‘desensitised’ but the fact you can see ever single detail of this persons skull (& even teeth) blows me away…

Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream is toying with the idea of a flavor inspired by the famed SNL sketch, Schweddy Balls (ahem says a press release so let’s see if they have the balls to follow through with it – pun intended).
The brands PR (cough) isn’t denying that something is in the works, though they prefer to keep all of their new flavors a secret until they’re officially revealed, so that each one has an “element of surprise” (yep again it’s called PR). I think the thing is when it comes to strange ice cream Japan already have it pretty much nailed… So anyone for a horseflesh ice cream?..

We’ve been asked to work on the Alice Cooper freak show auditions in a few weeks, as well as provide general entertainment and perform. We’ll keep the precise details under wraps for now (I know my big brother reads this blog and reports back to the rest of my family in Southampton – hello Michael) but I can reveal it will be Silent Hill themed (oh & that I’ll be wearing the Prangsta frilly pants that seemed to go down well at the Kerrang! Awards too).
Kiss & Bake Up have come up trumps already so I am delighted to share the first samples of her awesome cake pops which will form part of the table (the final versions will have hinges and sharper edges). I love these on their own of course but the entire edible display, featuring work from the likes of Mamma Jamma Cakes, is going to freak the f**k out of everyone. Yay!

A piece of iconic pop art history for £10,000 or a very expensive second hand jumper you decide – personally if I had the money I would be all over this like a nasty rash. The other issue is I think fear know that I’m about to become fairly addicted to the Vintage Seekers site I found this on (via @maiden_uk).
Made of the finest cashmere, this exquisite black poloneck jumper was owned and worn by the artist Andy Warhol.
There are numerous well documented photographs showing Warhol wearing the jumper whilst producing many of his famous artworks.
The jumper was manufactured by a company called Halston.
Halston designs were also worn by Elizabeth Taylor, Liza Minnelli, Anjelica Huston and many other glamorous Hollywood stars.
Warhol continues to set record prices at art auctions. His artwork ’200 one dollar bills’ sold in November 2009 for $43.8m.
However personal memorabilia relating to Warhol is increasingly hard to find.
This black poloneck can be considered a truly iconic piece of art history.

AliceCooper, birthday, blow job, cake, chic cakes, cigarette butt, clown, food, installation, Kerrang!, Kerrang! Awards, nevie pie, prangsta, shit on a stick, vagina
UPDATE: Here is a video of the cake table at Kerrang. I say ‘video’ I took a roaming view of the table (& yes that music was on all night – it sent me slightly crazy)!
So last night Cakehead Loves were asked to do a cake installation at the Kerrang awards by Torture Garden, the production company running the reception (more on the other installations in another post). We also had to walk about the tables in the award ceremony giving the artists vagina cakes and other treats such as a Molly Bakes “shit on a stick” like… Half Penny Home also made the bunting you can see… Alix Fox was my partner in crime for this section and we were dressed in amazing burlesque clown costumes from Prangsta with corsets, frilly pants and candy floss wigs. People such as @seansmithsucks (in the Blackout) were loving the Vagina cakes (as well as the frilly pants) made by Black Cherry Bakery and giving them some serious Twitter loving tweeting pictures such as below. Alice Cooper declined one as he is on a diet
It was such a FUN night but to be honest I have felt better so I will keep it brief and share these images of our sweet table – designed by Natasha of Nevie Pie Cakes fame, with an astonishing Clown Cake from Mamma Jamma Cakes (formerly Chic Cakes) – with a longer post coming soon.
The concept was to design the table to look like “the morning after” with edible cigarette drinks (astonishingly crafted by Nevie Pie), half ‘spilt’ wine, cheese (marzipan) on sticks that look as if it had been half bitten, Molly Bakes cake pops that look like sausages lying in pools of jelly… I am waaaaaaaaaay to hung over to do this justice as we partied hard afterwards (well we had frilly pant on) so I am going to leave you with you these pictures whilst I crawl into a hole and die until this hangover goes.

Last week, Doodlers Anonymous invited artists to design an entirely hand drawn spread for their June 2012 calendar page. I LOVE the submission from Thefty filled with insects and ice cream (as a hot, summer month should be).
