More of less everyone knows about my good friends, the outrageously talented Bompas & Parr AKA The Jellymongers AKA Harry Parr & Sam Bompas, by now but if not then DO click through for more information (you’ll regret it if you don’t).
Now they have come up with a magical kitchen kit that lets you ‘tit about’ (AKA creative) with your pancakes for a UK syrup brand (see pictures for branding). Using the kit and by following the detailed (and magically secret) instructions you can for example: make pancakes that bioluminesce (glow in the dark using the same enzymes as fireflies); fire projectiles across the kitchen (be sure to duck); create psychedelic swirling fractal patterns or even (the aim of all true alchemists) turn your pancake topping into real gold.
I think we can assume by now it it is going to be total & utter chaos in my hands (imagining the pusses running for cover under the sofa)…. …I am saving mine for a cook off with a friend which I am determined to win – especially as;
a) he specifically said I could not ask Sam for help
b) said “do me a favour love” when I said I was going to win
c) as he does not read this blog

Bompas & Parr are launching the kit at an exclusive food and magic show in at the Magic Circle in London on Friday 25th February which I can’t wait to see, there are also hosting An Evening Of Magic Pancakes, At The Fifth Floor Café, Harvey Nichols, Monday 28 February from 6:30pm.
