Who remembers the McDonald’s branded coke spoon? More of that below but what really drew me to the attention of Ju$t Another Rich Kid for the second time was these Nike trainers for a bargain £2700 mark. Their creator the New York based graphic artist and designer Ken Courtney who uses art and fashion design to address the commodity of ‘celebrity’.

Coke spoons for around £1500 and up anyone -  that’s 30 wraps in the Class A currency… Regardless of your views of taking drugs you have to admire the balls of someone who issues a special coke spoon 10 piece gift set for $2250

The work of Juan Francisco Casas has blown me away – all of these pieces drawn with shit loads of Bic biros. They are also MASSIVE, a couple of meters tall… His method is ‘simple’, first taking a photograph of his subject then replicates them with pens. I particularly enjoy the fact his works are getting less and less SFW (via Life Lounge)

OK so I have seen many skull candles (including the luke warm ones from All Saints)) but these from Moleta Munro x Koff are AMAZING! OK so given £48 for a candle is soooooooo expensive but when the look this good it is very tempting. This is massively on my Christmas list I can tell you – pleeeeeeease can someone get it for me

Too often its true beauty is over looked we see only death, but this situation is changing with the increase in our interest in the natural world, the embracing of museums, and appreciation of design all contribute to a new aesthetic.
