About a week ago Nerd Bastards broke an internet with a story reporting that the hideous people from Westboro Baptist Church would be protesting false idol worshipping at San-Diego Comic-Con .
“Comic Con is an excuse for whores to wear skimpy get-ups,” and participants must “put away action figures and get about the business of serving your God.”-WBC website’
To put this into context, Westboro Baptist are the same loops who protest at American soldier funerals and also have some rather un-kind things to say towards the gay community (God hates fags and so on)… But don’t fuck with nerds – they came out in their 100′s and mocking the discriminating picketers by holding up signs like “Superman Died For Your Signs” and “God Loves Gay Robin”.

The Love Parade deaths are so sad – it’s shockingly unfair such a tragedy has happened at all, never mind at a festival started with such peaceful & happy roots. From their website:
Our wish to arrange a happy togetherness was overshadowed by the tragic accidents today. Therefore we are ending the live stream of the Loveparade. Our sincere condolences to all the relatives and our thoughts are with all of those who are currently being taken care of. OK I actually do totally freaked out writing this post and there is a good reason… oh yes this is a bad / good one those eyelashes below are made from…
…dead fly legs. Yep artist Jessica Harrison makes ‘sculptural videos’ including one using real fly legs for eyelashes called (of course) Flylashes. It’s making me shudder – but equally I LOVE IT.
I don’t find Mouth Eye any less disturbing either – urrrrrrghhhhhhhh
