(update) If your going to wear tweed then REALLY wear tweed!
Yipeee it is the Tweed Ride in London tomorrow (sold out) – it is a social bicycle ride through London streets starting from Pimlico (as you do) with all riders sporting 1920s and 30s cycling attire, or tweed. Participants can expect a day of leisurely riding in the company of fellow ladies and gentlemen dressed in plus-fours, Harris tweed jackets, merino wool team jerseys, silk cravats and jaunty flat caps. Don’t forget your mint cake!
