Los Disneys is erm… …it’s a very different kind of shooting video game. It’s a bit dark!
The year is 2015. Steeped in national debt, the United States reluctantly allows the Walt Disney Company to purchase the entire peninsula of Florida in the largest geographic acquisition since the Louisiana Purchase. Under its new president, formerly-ousted CEO Michael Eisner, the newly-sovereign state is renamed Los Disneys. Your job is to infiltrate the Magic Kingdom, blasting your way through animatronic pirates, holographic ghosts, tourists, security guards and even Mickey himself in an attempt to seek and destroy the frozen head of Walt Disney. However, doing so inadvertently triggers Eisner’s doomsday device… unless you can stop it…

Hmmmm this new Pepsi max advert has feminists burning tampons in the street; woman rejects man, he pretends the earth has ended, she then sleeps with him, man then high fives mates who helped him set her up. I still feel too ill to give it much thought (brain consists of prescription drugs) but a right old internet storm is kicking up over this. I honestly don’t know what I think (via @LDN).

Back home whoop whoop (but still feel awful). One of the reasons I was in a right shitter about being so ill for the past few days is that I was meant to be interviewing Storm Thorgerson yesterday, for his new show which starts at the Idea Generation Gallery next week. From Led Zeppelin to Pink Floyd, Black Sabbath to Megadeath, Muse to the Mars Volta he unquestionably is of one of the greatest and most iconic album artists of all time. Luckily someone else stepped in to do the interview but it is still v annoying…
You WILL know his work even if you think you don’t…
