Innercircle Marmite release

Fire Flowing

I love the way the new Fire Flow brings the this lava lamp bang up to date. How? By going backwards in technology. This little beauty is powered by tea lights (as in candles), and I was most excited when Dirk (Cow / Rabbit) sent me one to play with. Like most men it takes a while to warm it up but do love the way that with some hardcore scented tea lights you get scent and a light show at the same time. Result!

One point is that it takes aaaaaages to get going (but so do most men), which reminds me that it’s hand poured in the UK! Whilst I am winging about the warm up tight of this ickle lava lamp, I am sure the warm up time of this potential new art installation below will be several ice ages. I so hope it gets the go ahead.

AIDS Graffiti Animation

TBWA has just completed a stop-motion animation for the French Association of Fight Against AIDS. It is possible the most random, yet great, yet pornographic public service style advert I have ever seen. There is NO way this would have been allowed in the UK – I may have to move to France. Warning has some extreme content that may not be considered SFW (!!!).

On a similar vein (but I can imagine this would get past official channels in the UK) you are not going to miss this 120 foot flying condom with the French government are using to fight the spread of AIDS. It went on display Jan. 26 at the Palais de la Decouverte, as part of a campaign created by the French association CondomFly (I don’t speak French so can’t shed much more light on the matter).
