alexander, armstrong, hair, have I got news for you, hislop, ian, john, merton, on, paul, spray, travolta, wigs
I have always wondered who buys the spray on ‘hair’ to cover bald patches – as normally advertised in the back on red top newspapers by x rugby players. However, whilst watching Have I got News For You this week, I discovered which unexpected celebrity does use this stuff – Alexander Armstrong for a start. See the image above… It is a shame as he is quite sexy in a Heat strange crush kind of way, but not with spray on hair. Clearly he is not alone in the World eh John!..

Fine baking for a chemistry nerds – original spark from Buzzfeed via Foodie Friday. These cupcake collections clearly stretch across a whole range of levels (OK so 6th down are rubbish), but I hope you noticed the color-coded icing for solids, liquids, and gases, as well as the empty cupcake liner for as-yet-undiscovered element ununseptium in the first images.

Great news girls and boys… “Chubby Mikey” is gearing up for his 2010 calendar. His motivation is that he “likes to think of his sexy photos hanging in people’s houses”. Not in my house.

OK so I have been moaning loads about the lack of decent Christmas tree decorations in the UK – but I have to say that Paperchase has come up trumps with these great skulls which come in pink and black (excuse my shit photograph).

A Colombian cookery school have created a ‘love dessert’ made with passion fruit and Viagra – clearly with stiffened egg whites. Their special pudding at was presented a “Gastronomy 2009″ culinary show held in Bogota. Personally it made me feel hungry so there might be something in it. This cooking stunt (I said stunt) also reminds me of the Pepto Bismal icecream I posted a few weeks back now.
All of that said, I have to say I think the take of my friends, The Jellymongers, is much better. They created lavender-marshmallows-laced-with-phenethylamine (the lurve drug in chocolate).

Loving the work of the The Decapitator – a UK artist who beheads street advertisements in a rather brutal fashion. I really wish I had thought of this idea, it’s inspired.
As reported in Columbia Today (?) (via Buzzfeed) he launched alternative versions of November’s Rolling Stone magazine, featuring a beheaded Shakira on the cover, and put up altered posters of advertisements, put up posters of the decapitated Colombian pop idol in New York City after previously striking in London, São Paulo and Paris. Brilliantly he even put out a limited edition of the magazine with the headless Shakira in the magazine racks of Barnes & Noble at Union Square.
All of that said we did this activity at Cow three years ago to launch the C’mons!
