I LOVE this Maurice Sendak / Spike Jonze featurette. I am also particularly touched by this article in which – at last – Sendak feels able to discuss his sexuality. He wisely decided at 80 years young there was no point in waiting around any longer to be asked if he was gay – especially after having lived with his partner Eugene Glynn for fifty years, until he sadly passed away.
