I have posted the latest two images about this ‘up top’ – for the background please see below:
This is what you need to know to appreciate why Robbo is one street artist that has really made me smile this Christmas:
(1) Robbo was a pioneer of London graffiti in the mid-80’s. The piece below painted at the Regents canal (Camden, London) in 1985. People tend to respect great work (let’s gloss over Banksy Ikea debacle as it was Croydon), and as such the piece has remained for all of these last 25 years…
(2) Banksy decided to go over it. See below.
(3) Robbo strikes back BRILLIANTLY
Oh I think I have fallen a little on love with him – am going to have to go down on my bended knees and, (no not that) try to persuade him to take part in spray cake.

The Pedestrian Project consists of several performers wearing entirely black custom-made costumes modeled after the generic images of men, women, and children seen on public signs. Mimicking the lives of everyday people, the roaming sculptural forms inspire the imaginations of onlookers, who often find themselves mesmerized as these familiar icons assume busy lives of their own. Created by New Yorker Artist/Costume Designer Yvette Helin, this idea is just Genius !
